Although we have lived in the surfing mecca of Port Elizabeth for 10 years, we have never been surfing. We decided it was time to change that, and went for our very first family surf lesson at Oceanside Surf Store with our fabulous 5-in-1 Nelson Mandela Bay passes.

Surf lessons are R200 per person, or you could use a Nelson Mandela Bay Pass.
They also offer bicycle rental as well as skateboards, roller blades and stand up paddle boards for hire.
What a fun family activity in the beautiful Eastern Cape city of Port Elizabeth – something you can do with your kids, its never too late to learn to surf. We stepped out of our comfort zones for the sake of our travel blog, and had so much fun, we are so glad we did!
