My boys love camping – rugged living, sleeping on the ground, at one with nature. I prefer “glamping” – luxury safari tents, outdoor showers with a view, sipping cocktails at sunset and a skilled team seeing to your every need.

I count my lucky stars every day that I live in the same town as my mom. Even though we live really close to each other, we don’t get to see each other enough – we snatch a quick chat over a cup of tea, but quality mom and daughter time is few and far between. My parents are travel bugs, and they are more often away than at home. When my mom is ‘in residence’, we love to do lunch together. From fudge and cookies, to jams, sauces and pickles, toys, gifts and crafts – farm stalls are a treasure trove brimming with unique items.
